Egg Bake Plus

Our son loves those chickens!

Our girls are now laying 6-9 eggs a day.  We currently have three dozen eggs in our fridge!  This is helping a lot with our meal planning and budgeting.  Tonight, we even did breakfast for dinner.

I used my favorite Simple Egg & Cheese Bake recipe and made one minor change.  I replaced the parsley with Tastefully Simple’s Spinach & Herb Seasoning.  If you haven’t tried this stuff and the Spinach & Herb Dip recipe that’s printed on the bottle, you are missing out!  You can grab a 1.5oz container over here at my friend Lindsey’s Tastefully Simple page for under $10.  This stuff is so versatile.  I added it to our Potato Cheddar soup last night and it was delicious!  The Spinach & Herb Dip is my favorite dip to serve for football parties.  Have you tried it?  If so, what’s your favorite recipe to use it in?  If not, what is your favorite seasoning?

Thanks to our chickens for another delicious meal!

  1. I have 7 female ducks, and since duck eggs are so much bigger than chicken eggs when I have 3 dozen in my fridge it’s like having 6-9 dozen. I tried freezing them before but they were pretty gross when thawed. 😝

We will have some ducklings any day now. I am still shocked that they were laying in this frigid weather. I can’t wait for my 2 year old to see them. I’m sure he’ll be super excited and amazed.
