The Magic of Simple Gardening Indoors

Tower Garden at the Juice Plus Conference with the Microgreens extension kit

I asked my husband for a Tower Garden since I heard about these magical Jetson-like growing machines in mid-2017.  He insisted that we didn’t need one since we live on 50 acres, but I knew what a blessing it would be.  So, I casually mentioned (about 100 times) how beneficial it would be.  No more dealing with weeds, snakes, soil issues, watering, and the extreme temperatures!  Not to mention, we can garden year-round in Colorado with a Tower Garden.

I was completely surprised when he actually got me one for Christmas! He worked with a good friend of mine and had it delivered to her house.  He’s going to have trouble topping this gift next year.

Did I mention that the Tower Garden has a timing system that turns on and off the lights at 6am/8pm and waters for 15 minutes every 45 minutes?  Yeah, it’s amazing.

There is some setup to the Tower Garden, but I found that to be the fun part!  My husband and I worked together and had it assembled in no time.

Can you imagine having fresh tomatoes in the middle of winter?  That’s one of the things I’m most excited about.  I also love that my son will see how food is grown and be able to enjoy the fresh produce with us.  We’re currently growing:

  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Genovese Basil
  • Sweet Basil
  • Gourmet Lettuce
  • Swiss Chard
  • Arugula
  • Chives

Here are a few more details about the Tower Garden:

Grow 30% More, 3x Faster, with 98% Less Water

“An advanced form of hydroponics, aeroponics is the process of growing plants in an air or mist environment rather than soil. Aeroponic systems use water, liquid nutrients, and a soilless growing medium to quickly and efficiently grow more colorful, tastier, better smelling and incredibly nutritious produce.”

Have a question?  I’d be happy to answer any questions here on my page or feel free to private message me.

  1. I love this idea so much! If we had more room and I didn’t have to worry about the cats eating the leaves I would get one. I’ll definitely put it on my list of future gardening supplies. Thanks for sharing!
